Named as the Gen Next show, the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive was an assemblage of fresh and breezy designs. There were many inspirations behind this event’s collections. Watching the collection with minimalistic, understated design aesthetics and fabric tassels was an awe-inspiring experience to the audience.
De Belle, inspired by the era of 90s, with blends of western and Indian wear had a range of fabrics and silhouettes that were very much appreciated.
The dark element in Fabiana, garments inspired by mythological characters from Hardika Gulati and the the theme of chaotic silence in connection to womanhood from Rucera mesmerised the audience.
There were a lot of collections that were blends of various fusion wear and inspired from rarest of elements. With all these, this event took place in a very grand manner.
Being fortunate enough to have these kinds of events happening in India, fashion designing experts suggest that opportunities should be created for students at various colleges for fashion designing to join these events to establish their careers.
