- Dosa batter
- Boiled potatoes
- Chopped onions, chilies & ginger
- Oil
- Salt
- Turmeric powder
- Finely chopped curry and coriander leaves
Recipe:
To begin with, first, we will start with potato masala. Heat a big pan with oil and add tempering seeds. Once the seeds turn slightly brown put in chopped onions, chilies, curry leaves & ginger and sauté till onions turn soft. Now add turmeric powder, salt and potatoes, saute well and cook them in a simmer with a lid. After 5 mins sprinkle chopped coriander leaves, turn off the stove and potato masala is ready for filling. Now heat a dosa tawa and spread dosa batter on tawa and sprinkle some oil over the dosa, spread a little red chutney over the dosa and place some potato masala in the center of the dosa. Let the dosa cook in simmer till the dosa turns slightly brown. Fold the dosa and serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar to relish it. This is perfect for your breakfast or dinner and even for your night cravings.
2.Egg Dosa
Egg Dosa is a healthy breakfast. It is cooked the same as a plain dosa, but topped with some eggs in the form of an omelet. Let’s first see the ingredients required for this recipe.
Ingredients:
- Eggs
- Dosa batter
- Salt
- Pepper
- Chopped onions and chilies
- Finely chopped coriander leaves

Recipe:
In a bowl beat eggs with onions, chillies, coriander leaves, salt, pepper and keep it aside. Now heat the dosa pan, spread the dosa batter on the pan and sprinkle oil over the dosa. Now pour some portion of egg mixture evenly on the dosa and let it cook for a few minutes. Flip the dosa when the bottom of the dosa turns slightly brown. 3.Ragi Dosa
Here we go with another healthy recipe, ragi dosa. If you are bored with regular dosa give a twist with this ragi dosa which goes in the same process, soaked along with rice, ground and fermented. To make this simple recipe, we need
Ingredients:
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cups ragi seeds
- 2 cups urad dal
- Salt as per taste
- Ghee or oil
Recipe:
Soak rice, ragi seeds and urad dal for 6 hours and ground them. Transfer the ground batter into a bowl and let it ferment overnight. Now mix the batter into running consistency with water and salt as per your taste. Heat a non-stick dosa pan, spread ragi dosa batter all over the pan and sprinkle a little amount of oil or ghee over the dosa. Let them cook, and flip when the bottom turns slightly brown. The same goes with the other side. Fold the dosa and serve hot with coconut chutney and tomato onion chutney, which is absolutely going to be so delicious.
4.Moong Dal Dosa
Moong Dal Dosa is a combination of yellow moong dal and rice. It is a healthy, tasty and quick recipe. How to make this recipe? First we will go with the ingredients
Ingredients:
- 1 cup rice
- 2 cup split yellow moong dal
- Grated ginger
- Salt as per taste
- Ghee or oil
Recipe:
First, let’s start with making moong dal dosa batter. Soak moong dal and rice in separate bowls for about 6 hours. Grind them into a thick runny batter, transfer them into a bowl and ferment all overnight. Next morning add in a small amount of water and salt as per your taste and give a good mix. Now heat a non-stick dosa pan and spread the batter over the pan. Sprinkle oil on the edges and on the dosa. Let it cook till the bottom part turns slightly brown. Flip dosa and let it cook for a few seconds. Fold the dos and serve with coconut chutney and tomato onion chutney for a great taste.
5.Onion Rava Dosa
This rava dosa is a simple, easy and instant recipe. All you need is a handful of ingredients required to make it and you will be happy with eating this instant dosa, as it is so crispy and tasty.
Ingredients:
- Sooji rava
- Rice flour
- All-purpose flour
- Chopped onions & green chillies
- Jeera
- Finely chopped coriander leaves
- Oil
- Salt as per taste
- Buttermilk
Recipe:
In a large bowl put rava, rice flour, all-purpose flour, chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves, jeera, salt as per taste and combine well. Now adding buttermilk little by little turns it into a running batter. The batter must be watery. After all the ingredients are well mixed, put the batter aside to soak for 15 mins. Before making dosa if the batter has thickened, add in water to make the batter runny and watery. Now heat a non-stick pan and pour the batter on a pan by spreading evenly. Drizzle oil over the dosa and edges of it. Let the dosa cook till the bottom part turns brown and crispy. This rava dosa should be cooked only on one side, so fold the dosa and serve hot. Serve this onion rava dosa with tomato onion chutney for spiciness.

6.Wheat Dosa

- Wheat flour
- Chopped onions & green chillies

Recipe:
This is the same as the rava dosa with simple changes. In a large bowl combine all the ingredients – rice flour, wheat flour, chopped onions & green chillies, coriander leaves and Salt as per taste. Make it into a batter by adding water without forming lumps. The consistency of batter should be better than pancake batter. Now we will start making dosas. Heat a non-stick pan and spread the dosa batter over the pan. Drizzle a teaspoon of oil over the dosa and edges of the dosa. To make this dosa crispy, fry it on an iron skillet or medium flame. Flip the dosa and let it cook fully. Serve it hot with tomato chutney or mixed vegetable chutney for great taste.
7.Oats and Coconut Dosa
This is a crispy instant dosa made with wheat flour, rice, oats and grated coconut. This tastes perfect and delicious with coconut chutney. Here are the ingredients required for the recipe.
Ingredients:
- Rice flour
- Wheat flour

- Grated coconut

First we will start preparing chilli paneer. In a pan heat oil add garlic, onion and capsicum and sauté until they are soft. Now add chopped tomatoes, paneer, sauces and 1/4 cup of water. Combine rice flour, sooji rava and wheat flour along with salt per taste and mix with water for thin runny batter dosa consistency. Now here we are with a real recipe.
