The main objective of an educational institute is to train, evaluate and give opportunities to students to prove their mettle. Likewise, Hamstech institute of Creative Education offers an incredible opportunity to its fashion designing students to display their creativity through fashion shows.
This year, the Hamstech Fashion Show is to be held on 24th September at the N Convention Center, Hyderabad. The show, scheduled to take place from 12 noon to 8 pm, will display a total of 31 collections by 200+ student designers. The collections will feature ethnic, fusion and western attires which will be showcased on the ramp.
Hamstech Fashion Show is one of the biggest and the most awaited show in town. It’s an opportunity given to students to showcase their talent as well as garner valuable experiences.
Though the show is only a one day event, the preparations for it begin at least 2 to 3 months prior. Every student from the fashion designing department completely dedicates his/her time in creating the best of designs.
The entire process of sketching, designing and stitching goes through a filtration process and the garments included in the show are handpicked by the celebrity mentor, Mrs. Neeta Lulla.
Mrs. Neeta Lulla, a renowned fashion designer and an eminent personality, has been associated with Hamstech for over two decades now. As a fashion stylist, she has worked on everything from traditional costumes for epic films to dresses for fashion icons. Her knowledge and expertise in the field has been very instrumental in the success of the fashion show and the development of career prospects of the students.
She closely monitors and guides every student’s work. Her suggestions and feedback are implemented so that the final product is perfect for display on the ramp. Among the 31 chosen for the show, collections like Rajasthani Paintings, Mughal Daggers and Udaipur Palace have been designed with inspiration taken from the rich Indian art and culture.
The show will display an exemplary collection of sarees, lehengas, anarkalis, jackets, palazzos, kurtis, etc. crafted from fine quality fabrics such as raw silk, georgette and chanderi. Innovative designs, unique silhouettes and a splash of vibrant colours are what the collections are all about. The best thing about the garments is that they are affordable and are customized to individual fitting measures.
Among the many institutes offering creative education, Hamstech Institute is one which encourages students to learn and develop general and individual skills. It is through practical training and hands-on experiences like fashion shows that students get the confidence to move ahead to a professional level.
Hamstech focuses on preparing students to stand at par with the best in the industry. It’s only when students are given industry-centric training that they can face tough competition. Hamstech has been very instrumental in identifying every student’s talent and guiding them in the right direction.
As in the yesteryears, this year too, the Hamstech Fashion Show is aiming to repeat its success story. The show’s success would indeed be a dream-come-true for every student and a great way to kick start a career in fashion designing.
