Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards (DPIFFA) is a prestigious award that Bollywood celebrities dream of winning. Lately, Bollywood’s ace fashion designer and Hamstech’s Fashion Design mentor Neeta Lulla won this award for best costume designer in 2019.
The award is instituted by an independent organization that honours the film and television industry. It recognises the hard work put in by the people in the entertainment world.
Neeta Lulla started as a professional fashion designer from her home more than three decades ago, with a sewing machine and one assistant. Within her career span, she established her own brand named “House of Neeta Lulla” comprising four verticals namely N Bride, Nisshk, Little Nisshk and Neeta Lulla.
She has also won the National Award for best costume design 4 times!
Neeta Lulla always finds inspiration in her roots. She shares her experience and craft with the new generation of fashion enthusiasts who are aspiring to be professionals in the fashion industry.
