Hamstech is a popular name in the creative industry. With an experience of over 27 years and an alumni network of 30,000+ students, it has helped many talented students build their dream careers.
Hamstech believes in providing its students ample opportunities, not only in their scope of study but also in co-curricular activities. Like every year, we organised our annual sports event on 19th February 2020 where the students displayed their strength, stamina and sportsmanship.
The chief guest for the event was the recipient of Padma Bhushan, Pullela Gopichand. He is the chief national coach for the Indian Badminton team. He is the second Indian to win the title of All England Open Badminton Championships in 2001. He also won the prestigious Arjuna Award in 1999 and Dronacharya Award in 2009. To help young Badminton players attain success in this field, he runs the Gopichand Badminton Academy where he trains star players like Saina Nehwal and P.V. Sindhu.
At the event, he talked to the students and motivated them to keep taking part in sports to balance their hectic lives. As he said, we can’t disagree that it is important to stay healthy and fit in today’s world and sports is, indeed, a great way to achieve it.
Sports Mania 2020 was a huge success as it witnessed the students walking home with the prize of pride! Their skills in games like cricket, badminton, throwball, tug of war and so much more had been recognised and deserving ones had been rewarded.
Hamstech College of Creative Education is not only a great platform to learn and enhance your skills but it also provides an opportunity to learn beyond the classroom walls! So, you can join Hamstech’s creative courses to participate in events like Sports Mania and get guidance from the best in the industry!
