This is a platform for photographers to showcase their art and at the same time also participate in understanding social issues through photos. State Gallery of Art- Hyderabad will host the IPF from 21st Sept,- 8th Oct 2017.
Photography tour to Ladakh.
The Ladakh Story, a local film production house in Ladakh is organising a seven-day Travel photography Workshop starting 21st August 2017. Photographers such as Aman Chotani will also be part of this workshop. The main aim of this workshop is to allow a photographer to experience and take pictures as they travel all over Ladakh.
Photography classes at Hamstech Institute also take students on a field trip where they can experience the place as they take pictures.
World Photography Day.
in lieu of the World Photography day, Delhi college of Photography is organising workshops, competitions and exhibition to honour the day. they are encouraging people to join them at the north campus on the 19th August 2017 to be a part of this celebration.

National Geographic Traveller invites all photographer to share their outlook on India’s rich cultural heritage. The contest chooses winners daily and in addition to this, a monthly winner is also selected by the in-house photo experts.
Focus Festival.
Focus Photography Festival Mumbai has an interesting take on how to spread the world of photography, showcasing photos in galleries, cafe shops and even the streets of Mumbai. This event happens once every two years, in the month of March.Along with exhibitions they also conduct workshops, talks show events and portfolio review sessions.
